As a working farm, the project will provide hand-on opportunities to teach and explore sustainable agriculture and permaculture design methods, convene on-site educational field labs, and engage community collaboration on and beyond the farm. Activities will include:

  • A variety of innovative permaculture design methods to support sustainable, low-energy input agriculture.
  • Opportunities for hands-on learning, teaching and research activities, including ongoing biochar workshops.
  • Engagement with local and regional community partners on programs and public events.
  • Engaging with local markets to provide fresh produce and other agricultural products.
