Morethana Farm is a partnership between Antioch University Seattle, Pacific Bamboo Resources, SeaChar, and other local groups within the Sammamish Valley.
Located near the city of Woodinville, WA, Morethana Farm is a six-acre organic agriculture and agroforestry project.
Learning Opportunities
As a working farm, the project will provide hand-on opportunities to teach and explore sustainable agriculture and permaculture design methods, convene on-site educational field labs, and engage community collaboration on and beyond the farm. Activities will include:
- A variety of innovative permaculture design methods to support sustainable, low-energy input agriculture.
- Opportunities for hands-on learning, teaching and research activities, including ongoing biochar workshops.
- Engagement with local and regional community partners on programs and public events.
- Engaging with local markets to provide fresh produce and other agricultural products.
